You can leave the chain as it is to provide extra rust protection on the outside, or you can wipe it and remove the excess with a dry, clean cloth to reduce even furtherly the (very little) collection of road dirt on the chain

It's not strictly needed to wipe out the excess before riding. You can do it if you want to furtherly reduce the possibiliy of collecting dirt, if riding on a dusty trail: rub the chain with a dry, clean cloth and it will be good 👍

While wax immersion is the best way to go for chain life, taking chains off that often is a pain. We power wash our bikes (carefully!) after muddy rides and I blow off each chain link to get the grit completely out of the chain. If the chain needs rewaxing, I’ll reapply. Wax lasts way longer than any other lube we’ve used and it’s dry and keeps grit out of the rollers. Great for mtb!

Yes, first time inflate until the tyre seats correctly on the wheel, then deflate to your riding pressure. Overinflation is exceeding the max pressure stamped on the sidewall of the tyre

A degreased chain will be perfect. Just make sure there're no oily traces on the chain, rinse with water, dry it well and... apply the wax lube 👍

You can do approx. 150-300 miles between re-lubes, but the rule of thumbs is to relube as soon as you feel the chain noise increase. No need to degrease every time (unless the chain get contaminated with mud/dirt): just use a clean, dry cloth on the outside of the chain, then lube each link with a droplet of Flowerpower Wax

Yes, Caffélatex and Végétalex sealants are compatibile, and can be mixed. Please note that you get the durability of Caffélatex out of the mix, while Végétalex by itself could last much longer. We still recommend choosing one or the other, in the long run 👍

Sunflower seed wax has a high resistance to water, so performance in the wet is good. After a long ride in the rain, we recommend drying the chain with a clean cloth and re-applying Flowerpower Wax, to make sure lubrication is optimal for your next ride

Hi! Flowerpower wax provides a very durable lubrication. The best way to judge when you need to apply more is by listening to your chain: when it starts to feel more noisy, it'time to re-lube. If you ride in dry conditions, simply wipe your chain with a dry, clean cloth and apply Flowerpower wax to each chain link. Let dry before riding.

@jacobgundill7969 Why not? I looked at the data from zero friction cycling and it seems to perform well. I relube after every wet ride anyway and it's got to be better than muc off which I've previously used

@leahthompson1 if you are prepared to do it after every wet ride then it is better yes. It's better for your chain than the crappy muc off lube

It's not really needed, but you could do it to spread wax on the outer chain surface, to prevent rusting

Shake the bottle well to make sure it's homogeneous, then the viscosity will be right to stay on the chain and slowly enter inside the links. As for the video not showing the details... you'right, a macro would have been better 😅

If the old tape is already tubeless, no need to remove it when adding more sealant

Hello Ian, Tyreinvader is "tight" on purpose so that - once mounted inside the tyres - it will stay in place no matter what and protect the rims in case of sudden loss of pressure. To do a test, assemble Tyreinvader with zip-ties and fit it on the wheel (without tyre): you'll see it sits on the rim outer circumference just fine. Obviously, when the tyre is in the way, the fitting is much tighter and you'll need some efforts to have the last section in... but it's do-able.

As a further comment, tyres with a stiffer casing make accomodating Tyreinvader on the wheel more difficult. Most tyre inserts are not very easy to mount, and Tyreinvader is normally considered "easier" than most (we mounted them all, to test them!): making Tyreinvader longer will make mounting easier, but it will compromise its ability to stay in place while riding.

@@EffettoMariposaSagl i did It in the front wheel, with a Maxxis dhf 2'5, not too much problem, just be patient... But finally i cannot mount It in rear wheel, i make the tyre invader wider, but no luck, and finally broke my tubeless Tape... I Will try Next time with a wider model like 2'5

The original non-tubeless rimstrip doesn't serve any purpose once Strip Fat is fitted, it's just unnecessary weight. But if someone wants to leave it for cosmetic reasons, no problem.
